This year marks the 53rd WAPC Statewide Perinatal Conference and the 6th Wisconsin Perinatal Quality Collaborative (WisPQC) Annual Summit. For the second year running, the WAPC Conference and the WIsPQC Summit will be combined into one event – the 2023 Wisconsin Perinatal Conference!

Tim Boehmer Scholarship: Scholarships are available thanks to the generous support of the Perinatal Foundation’s Tim Boehmer Education Fund. Registration Policies

Registration must be completed by September 29, 2023 to ensure access to all conference materials.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be received in writing by September 29, 2023. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after September 29, 2023. Refunds will not be given for no-shows.

Continuing Education

Please see below for the various types of continuing education credits offered at this year’s conference and more information on how to claim those.

Continuing Medical Education

The Wisconsin Association for Perinatal Care (WAPC) is accredited by the Wisconsin Medical Society to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The Wisconsin Association for Perinatal Care (WAPC) designates this live course for a maximum of 14.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits^TM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Continuing Nursing Professional Development

The Wisconsin Association for Perinatal Care (WAPC) is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the Wisconsin Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

This live course meets the criteria for a maximum of 14.5 contact hours.

Certified Health Education Specialist

Members of the planning committee are finalizing the sessions in this program that will be designated for Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES) and/or Master Certified Health Education Specialists (MCHES) credit. Sessions available for credit will be noted in the descriptions.

Claiming Credit

To claim your CME, CNE or CHES credit for courses completed during the conference, you must attend the full session and complete the conference evaluation within 2 weeks of the end of the conference.
