HIGH QUALITY, RISK-APPROPRIATE CARE

Level of Care Designation for Hospitals

Based on ACOG and AAP’s Guidelines for Perinatal Care, WAPC designates obstetric and neonatal levels of care for hospitals in Wisconsin. A hospital’s level of care communicates its capabilities and areas of strength, as well as supports cooperation between hospitals in a region.
